シニアアカウンティングスペシャリスト/ Senior Accounting Specialist

A multinational optical and medical devices company is looking for a Senior Accounting Specialist. The selected candidate will manage financial reporting and daily accounting operations.

Responsibilities:

• Manage HQ accounting operations, including manufacturing lab activities
• Review daily accounting entries such as GL, AP, AR, and FA
• Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial statements under IFRS and J-GAAP
• Coordinate and support external audit processes
• Contribute to semi-annual forecast and yearly budget preparation
• Control tax calculation and reporting in collaboration with tax accountants
• Prepare and review statutory financial statements and business reports
• Communicate with overseas entities on financial inquiries
• Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis and support projects

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
• 3-5 years of experience in accounting and financial reporting
• More than 3 years of management experience is ideal
• Prior experience in Big 4 firms is a plus
• Experience with Oracle, HFM, or Smartview is a plus
• Proven knowledge in J-GAAP and IFRS
• Proficient in MS Excel
• Strong leadership and willingness for Kaizen
• Possess a valid USCPA or J-CPA certification is a plus
• Professional level Japanese; proficient in written and verbal English
