シニア会計士/ Senior Accountant

A global machinery manufacturing company is seeking a Senior Accountant. The selected candidate will manage accounting operations, reporting, and compliance across global and local standards.

Responsibilities:

• Manage revenue recognition and ensure compliance with accounting principles
• Oversee general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and fixed assets
• Prepare and analyse financial statements and reports under Japan statutory accounting and US GAAP
• Execute monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities
• Coordinate intercompany transactions and balance reconciliations with overseas affiliates
• Support audits, tax filings, and budgeting processes

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above
• More than 5 years of experience in finance and accounting
• Experience in consolidation and international accounting in medium-to-large organisations
• Prior experience with global ERP system
• Proven experience in a global company is desired
• Knowledge of general ledgers
• Understanding of generally accepted accounting principles
• Proficient in MS Office Suite
• Skilled in Oracle operating systems is a plus
• Native level Japanese; business level written and spoken English
