経理マネージャー/ Accounting Manager

A global software development company is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager. The successful candidate will oversee accounting operations, reporting, and compliance, while driving process improvements across financial functions.

Responsibilities:

• Manage accounting operations including invoicing, accounts receivable/payable, expense control, and closing
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management
• Develop and enforce accounting policies and internal controls to ensure accuracy and timely reporting
• Ensure compliance with tax and regulatory requirements in coordination with internal and external professionals
• Conduct accounting and tax research, including the assessment of technical accounting standards
• Provide training on revenue recognition to internal teams and update related accounting policies

Requirements:

• Experience in accounting (JGAAP accounting)
• Prior experience in management
• Proven experience with foreign party (parent company, subsidiary, affiliate)
• Background in preparing one or more of the following reporting documents: statutory financial statements under the Companies Act, earnings release reports, securities reports, or Section I of IPO registration statements
• Prior background in software company is a plus
• Possess valid Nissho bookkeeping test 1st grade is preferred
• Possess valid JP or US CPA qualification is ideal
• Business level English; professional level Japanese
