財務マネージャー/ Finance Manager

A multinational travel retail company is seeking a Finance Manager. The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of financial management, from reporting and compliance to strategic planning and control.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and cash flow management
• Ensure compliance with Japanese tax laws and liaise with tax authorities
• Develop investment and capital strategies to support business growth
• Prepare financial statements, analyses, and reports for regional management
• Supervise accounting operations including payables, receivables, and payroll integration
• Identify financial risks, strengthen internal controls, and maintain compliance with IFRS or GAAP

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in finance, accounting, or a relevant domain (MBA is ideal)
• More than 7 years of experience in finance
• More than 2 years of experience in a managerial role (international or new market setup is ideal)
• Experience with risk management, compliance audits, and cross-functional collaboration
• Understanding of Japanese tax regulations, financial reporting standards, and investment
  practices
• Proficient in financial software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or MS Excel advanced functions)
• Possess valid CPA or equivalent certification is a plus
• Business level Japanese and English
