財務マネージャー/ Finance Manager

A multinational biotechnology company is seeking a Finance Manager. The selected candidate will oversee financial reporting, compliance, planning, and strategic support to drive business performance.

Responsibilities:

• Lead finance and accounting operations in compliance with local regulations and corporate policies
• Manage monthly close, account reconciliation, and variance analysis
• Partner with leadership to provide financial insights and business performance analysis
• Oversee annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, and financial KPIs
• Strengthen internal controls and improve financial processes
• Coordinate audits, tax filings, and liaise with auditors and government authorities
• Collaborate with regional and global finance teams on ERP, cost optimisation, and pricing projects

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• More than 10 years of relevant experience, preferably in a multinational or regional role
• Prior experience with Power BI is a plus
• Experience in life sciences, healthcare, or FMCG industries preferred
• Deep understanding of J-GAAP, tax regulations, and statutory reporting
• Proficient in ERP systems (SAP B1 preferred) and Excel
• Possess valid professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, or equivalent preferred
• Professional level Japanese; proficient in written and verbal English
