上級財務マネージャー/ Senior Finance Manager

A global biotechnology company is seeking a Senior Finance Manager. The selected candidate will be managing all financial operations including accounting, taxation, audit, and compliance.. This is a hybrid role.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the areas of finance, accounting, taxation, audit, and compliance
• Ensure timely and accurate preparation of statutory financial statements and group reporting in line with IFRS and Local GAAP
• Act as a business partner to EKK and EHT management, overseeing the company from a financial perspective
• Establish and maintain robust internal controls over financial transactions and reporting
• Drive process improvement in finance-related areas
• Liaise with auditors and manage audit processes to ensure compliance
• Ensure compliance with Japanese local laws and regulations from a financial standpoint
• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing finance team in Japan
• Oversee and contribute to cross-functional and finance transformation projects

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above
• More than 10 years of experience in finance operation and accounting (multinational environment is ideal)
• Experience in reporting or presenting financial figures
• Knowledge of IFRS and J-GAAP
• Proficient in ERP systems and financial reporting tools (Hyperion)
• Familiarity with Japanese tax and local practices
• Advanced level MS Excel
• Possess a valid CPA qualification
• Native level Japanese; fluent level written and verbal English
