財務アカウンタント/ Financial Accountant

A global professional services company is looking for a Financial Accountant. The chosen applicant will support the daily financial control, compliance requirements and operational reporting for the Japan business. This is a hybrid role.

Responsibilities:

• Manage all Concur expense approvals
• Support the month-end close for all entities
• Help prepare monthly analysis and KPIs for business leaders
• Assist with the year-end financial statements and tax returns
• Support the preparation of quarterly VAT and consumption tax returns
• Help post transactions and reconcile intercompany balances
• Support queries from the wider teams
• Provide analysis and assist with project work, as requested by the Finance Manager

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in finance or accounting
• 3-5 years of finance experience (service or consulting industries is preferred)
• Professional level Japanese and English
