財務ビジネスパートナー/ Finance Business Partner

An international biopharmaceutical firm is searching for a Finance Business Partner. The selected candidate will be in charge of supporting business units to achieve objectives and maximise financial contributions.

Responsibilities:

• Lead financial planning cycle (MTP, RBU2, PB) and deliver analysis of business performance
• Detect Key Risks and Opportunities, collaborating with members in BU, ComEx/IDS, Medical and other back-office teams
• Analyse mid- to long-term business environments and lead business planning aligned with corporate strategies
• Evaluate forecasts for each brand based on the understanding of market conditions
• Lead the management of budget vs. actuals for each business plan, including the creation of actual performance reports
• Work closely with brand teams to identify key risks and opportunities by delving into areas with discrepancies
• Lead cross-functional projects and support partnership operations with alliance companies

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in finance or accounting
• More than 5 years of experience in the pharma industry
• Excellent skills in MS Excel and PowerPoint (Oracle, Hyperion Planning including Smart View, SAP is desirable)
• Work experience in commercial finance is preferred
• Experience in the oncology market is a plus
• Experience in accounting is preferred
• USCPA, JICPA, or MBA qualification is advantageous
• Fluent level written and verbal Japanese; business level written and verbal English
