シニアアカウンタント/ Senior Accountant

A global retail company is looking for a Senior Accountant. The selected candidate will oversee financial operations, including accounts payable, payroll, and inventory management.

Responsibilities:

• Record and track daily sales transactions and reconcile payments
• Monitor store expenses and ensure timely bank deposits
• Process invoices and manage supplier accounts
• Track and report operational expenses to management
• Prepare and process payroll, including taxes and deductions
• Manage employee reimbursements and compliance
• Oversee inventory management and reconcile financial statements
• Report shrinkage and support procurement with cost analysis
• Maintain cash flow records and reconcile bank accounts weekly
• Generate monthly financial reports and support budgeting
• Collaborate with store managers for financial control
• Provide financial data for audits and assist in compliance checks

Requirements:

• More than 3 years of experience in accounting
• Experience in inventory management, stock control, and cost tracking
• Prior experience in multi-location retail business is a plus
• Understanding of Japanese accounting standards (JGAAP) and payroll processes
• Knowledge with sales reporting, inventory tracking, and cost control
• Skilled in accounting software (Freee or similar)
• Proficient in MS Excel
• Fluent level Japanese; proficient in verbal English
