アカウンタント/ Accountant

A multinational logistics company is seeking an Accountant (Staff & Manager). The selected candidate will manage daily accounting operations and collaborate with headquarters to ensure accurate reporting and compliance. This is a hybrid setup role.

Responsibilities:

• Manage daily accounting tasks in compliance with local and HQ standards
• Oversee company bank accounts and coordinate payment/receivable processes in SAP
• Communicate regularly with HQ accounting for accurate financial alignment
• Prepare data for monthly and annual closings and support audit processes
• Monitor and forecast cash flow, escalating issues when needed
• Review expense claims and handle petty cash transactions
• Analyse financial data and generate reports
• Maintain and improve accounting policies, systems, and procedures
• Support budget planning, mid-year reviews, and provide recommendations
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and internal policies
• Participate in internal/external trainings and cross-functional meetings

Requirements:

• Proven working experience as an Accounting Manager or Finance Manager
• Advanced computer skills in MS Office Sute, accounting software and databases
• Ability to direct and supervise
• Good interpersonal communication skills
• Proficient in written and verbal English and Japanese
