A global luxury hospitality company is looking for an Assistant Cluster Director of Finance. The selected candidate will provide financial expertise to drive property-wide strategies and ensure the successful implementation of financial and accounting activities.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the development of strategies to improve profitability, including cost estimation and exploring new business opportunities
• Analyse financial data, forecast sales against expenses, and create annual budget plans
• Monitor actual sales against projected sales and analyse variances in budget and forecasted wages
• Provide analytical support during budget reviews to identify cost-saving and productivity opportunities
• Ensure the implementation of controls to manage business risks and safeguard assets
• Assist in the development of the annual business plan aligned with the company's strategic goals
• Lead and support the finance and accounting team by providing clear accountability and guidance
• Manage communications with key stakeholders and owners, ensuring financial goals align with priorities
• Monitor P&L accuracy, taxes, and ensure timely submission of reports
• Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) and management contract reporting requirements
• Ensure fair and consistent administration of property policies and provide ongoing team member training

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Finance, Accounting, or related field
• More than 1 year of experience in finance and accounting or a related professional area
• Experience in managing audits and compliance
• Proficient in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting
• Professional level Japanese and English
