経理マネジャー/ Accounting Manager

A multinational medical devices company is seeking an Accounting Manager. The selected candidate will lead a range of accounting operations and ensure compliance with internal and external financial standards. This is a hybrid setup role.

Responsibilities:

• Manage month-end and year-end closing processes
• Oversee financial accounts, including cash receipts, AP/AR, inventory, and fixed assets
• Ensure adherence to global accounting procedures to meet financial targets
• Reconcile all balance sheet accounts monthly
• Handle monthly employee expense reimbursements using 楽楽精算 (Rakuraku-seisan)
• Forecast monthly cash flow and analyse ERP-based trial balance
• Improve accounting systems and initiate corrective measures
• Assign tasks and supervise team to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Meet internal reporting deadlines and financial objectives
• Support financial audits when necessary
• Establish accounting policies and best practices

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in accounting or finance
• More than 10 years of accounting experience
• More than 3 years of people management experience
• Proven experience in accounting or finance management roles
• Proficient in MS Office Suite, accounting software, and ERP systems (Payroll preferred)
• Native level Japanese; business level English
