An international consumer goods company is seeking a Senior Finance Manager. The selected candidate will drive commercial finance initiatives, support marketing strategies, and ensure financial efficiency through in-depth analysis and budget management.

Responsibilities:

• Support marketing in investment planning, pricing strategies, and goal setting
• Provide financial analysis for marketing programs, product profitability, and trade marketing effectiveness
• Lead budget planning and expense monitoring for the marketing function
• Drive cost management and resource allocation to maximise shareholder value
• Conduct competitor financial analysis and present key insights
• Ensure governance, compliance, and financial controls within marketing operations
• Act as a key business partner to marketing, providing financial guidance and support
• Enhance financial awareness through training and development initiatives
• Lead and mentor finance team members, fostering professional growth

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Finance, Accounting, or related field
• More than 8 years of finance experience (FMCG industry is a plus)
• Experience in cross-functional business partnering
• Strong financial analytical skills (ROI, NPV) with commercial insight capability
• Understanding of excise and pricing strategies, company planning processes
• Knowledge of marketing strategy, trade & brand marketing activities
• Expertise in financial management and systems
• Fluent level English and Japanese
