シニアアカウンタント/ Senior Accountant

A global food manufacturing company is looking for a Senior Accountant. The selected candidate will oversee AR processes, supervise contractors, and ensure accurate financial reporting. This is a hybrid role.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and support AR contractors, focusing on closing activities
• Prepare journal entries for copacker receivables
• Reconcile general ledger and AR subledger accounts
• Ensure accurate financial data recording in accounting systems
• Monitor AR balances, manage overdue issues, and perform balance sheet reconciliations
• Oversee credit management, including annual credit rating reviews

Requirements:

• More than 5 years of experience in accounting
• Experience in process improvement is a plus
• Prior experience in food or consumer goods industry, dealing with accounting for “inventory” and managing accounting “import” process is ideal
• Proven experience in SOX is advantageous
• Proficient in MS Office Suite
• Understanding of US GAAP is preferred
• Fluent level Japanese; business level English
