シニアアカウンタント/アシスタントファイナンスマネージャー/ Sr. Accountant/Asst. FX Manager

A global fashion apparel retailer is looking for a Senior Accountant/Assistant Finance Manager. The selected candidate will manage accounting operations, focusing on accounts receivable (AR), financial reporting, and compliance. This is a hybrid setup role.

Responsibilities:

• Act as the main contact for sales and other departments regarding AR matters
• Issue invoices and AR statements, coordinating with clients
• Reconcile payment data with sales records in SAP
• Support AR collection efforts and report delayed payments
• Organise monthly meetings with sales to review overdue AR
• Manage credit limits, monitor incoming payments, and handle credit blocks
• Process and post invoices for fixed assets in SAP
• Conduct P&L analysis via Hyperion and support financial audits
• Perform month-end closings under IFRS and local GAAP
• Assist in AR-related projects and liaise with HQ

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in accounting or business
• 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience in the apparel industry
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, local GAAP, and tax
• Solid understanding of accounting processes
• Proficiency in SAP and MS Office Suite
• Possess a valid Bookkeeping grade 2+ certification is preferred
• Native level Japanese; business level English (Yomikaki level)
