財務マネージャー/ Finance Manager

An international renewable energy company is searching for a Finance Manager. The chosen applicant will be responsible for producing periodic management and statutory accounts and reports. This is a hybrid role.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure timely and accurate tax filings, manage tax compliance and Consumption tax recovery
• Coordinate and monitor account booking by outsourced accounting companies
• Provide oversight on payment transactions as well as corporate finance activities
• Conduct budgeting and forecasting activities
• Ensure that internal controls are adhered to at all times
• Preparation of funding requests
• Manage external and internal audits
• Facilitate communication with the outsourced accounting, tax and corporate services firms
• Assist in ensuring that the Company is complying with all aspects of agreements in place

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above
• More than 7 years of professional experience
• Experience in accounting software programs and online banking systems
• Knowledge of Japanese financial and tax recording and reporting processes as well as experience of International Financial Reporting Standards
• Knowledge of renewable energy
• Proficient in MS Office
• Experience in the area of SPC accounting is desirable
• Possess a valid professional accounting qualification is preferred
• Ability and willingness to travel locally and internationally
• Native level Japanese; business level written and verbal English
