シニアマネージャー・財務/ Senior Manager, Finance

A foreign life science company is searching for a Senior Manager, Finance. The chosen applicant will partner closely with the Japan General Manager and leadership team to achieve the overall business objectives and financial goals.

Responsibilities:

• Provide insightful financial analytics to build a strong business case for any investments
• Support financial business modelling on long-term strategic growth initiatives and business development projects
• Develop, own, and lead the overall financial mechanisms for the Region
• Approve commercial contracts per the Delegation of Authority
• Provide oversight over all associated monthly financial reporting and closing activities, internal audits, SOX controls, and compliance for the Region
• Work closely with APAC Controllership and Tax teams to solve pending issues and advise appropriately on any statutory and tax compliance matters

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or above in finance
• 8-10 years of prior experience in a senior financial leadership position
• Advanced knowledge of JGAAP and USGAAP accounting, including statutory and tax requirements
• Excellent MS Excel and financial modelling proficiency
• Knowledge of Power BI is a plus
• Possess a valid FMP, PFLP, CAS, CPA, MBA, EMBA (or any other relevant financial training program) is preferred
• Proficient in written and verbal Japanese and English
