Director of Finance

A renowned hospitality company is seeking a Director of Finance to lead and oversee financial operations at a high-profile hotel. The ideal candidate will safeguard assets, produce comprehensive financial reports, and provide financial counsel to management.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and administer bookkeeping and accounting systems
• Review and approve monetary disbursements, allowances, and payroll expenditures
• Oversee monthly reconciliation of cash, accounts receivable, and hotel inventory
• Safeguard financial records, contracts, leases, and other critical documents
• Prepare and file payroll tax returns and provide necessary tax information
• Train management on financial reports and statistical data interpretation

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• More than 2 years of accounting/finance experience in a hospitality setting
• More than 1 year of management experience in hospitality
• Proficient in GAAP, MS Office Suite, and hospitality systems like OPERA
• Ability to compute complex mathematical equations and address operational challenges
• Professional level Japanese; proficient in written and verbal English
