シニアアカウンタント/ Senior Accountant

A renowned online dating platform is looking for a Senior Accountant. The selected candidate will perform general accounting tasks, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and lead process improvements. This is a hybrid setup role.

Responsibilities:

• Perform general accounting tasks, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statement analysis
• Prepare corporate income tax filings and other tax-related tasks
• Investigate account balance variances and assist in explaining forecast deviations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance scalability and efficiency
• Review contracts and transactions to ensure proper accounting treatment
• Drive process improvements and ensure a SOX-compliant control environment

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Accounting, Finance, Tax, or related field
• 5-8 years of experience in financial accounting
• Strong knowledge of J-GAAP, US GAAP/IFRS, and internal controls (SOX)
• Advanced skills in Excel or Google Sheets
• Possess a valid accounting qualification (USCPA, JCPA, or Bookkeeping Level 2+)
• Native level Japanese (JLPT N1); business level English (TOEIC 800+)
