アカウンティングスーパーバイザー/ Accounting Supervisor

A renowned company in the manufacturing sector is looking for an Accounting Supervisor. The selected candidate will manage financial accounting, reporting, and ensure compliance with regulations while supporting the finance team.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct year-end and monthly closings for IFRS and Japanese local GAAP in cooperation with the Financial Shared Service team
• Reconcile B/S and P/L statements (IFRS vs Japanese local GAAP)
• Prepare quarterly and yearly financial reports to headquarters, including deferred tax calculation
• Prepare corporate income tax declarations and submit to Japanese tax authorities in cooperation with local tax consultants
• Manage the SAP financial accounting module and ensure data accuracy
• Support the finance team with reporting activities and address discrepancies

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• More than 5 years of experience in accounting, preferably in an international enterprise
• Proven experience in managing financial accounting and reporting processes
• Skilled in MS Excel, SAP ERP, and understanding of accounting and tax regulations
• Ability to contribute to process improvement and financial projects
• Proficient in English
