内部統制シニアマネージャー/ Internal Control Sr. Manager

An international sports and apparel company is looking for an Internal Control Sr. Manager. The selected candidate will lead internal control, risk management, profit protection, and audit initiatives to strengthen governance and compliance across the organisation. This is a hybrid setup role.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and enhance internal control, profit protection, and risk management systems across all departments
• Oversee policy development, implementation, and continuous improvement aligned with global standards and local regulations
• Manage internal control system audits, supervise testing activities, and report findings to senior executives
• Conduct retail store compliance audits, review key controls, and follow up on remediation plans
• Lead investigations, analyse incidents, and communicate findings to stakeholders
• Drive process optimisation projects and align initiatives with global strategies and local laws
• Monitor daily operations, manage tactical execution, and implement improvements
• Lead, coach, and develop team members while ensuring clear objectives and performance accountability

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above
• More than 7 years’ work experience
• More than 5 years’ finance or internal control/audit experience
• Proven experience in leading and managing a team
• Experience in the sports or clothing industry
• Skilled in MS Office with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Possess a valid Certified Internal Auditor license or equivalent (CPA, CISA, etc.)
• Fluent level written and verbal Japanese and English
