ビジネスコントローラー/ Business Controller

A global luxury fashion company is seeking a Business Controller. The successful candidate will oversee key controlling tasks, provide financial insights, and actively support strategic decision-making processes. This is a hybrid setup role.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee controlling tasks, including commercial, corporate, inventory, HR, and internal controls
• Act as a link between the COO and other functions while coordinating with Financial Reporting
• Contribute to business decision-making by analysing KPIs and managing business planning cycles
• Prepare financial simulations, business cases, and monitor overall investments
• Forecast sales and create profitability analysis by unit to identify areas of improvement
• Lead institutional financial processes such as budgeting, forecasting, and monthly closings

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above
• More than 5 years’ experience in Finance Controlling or FP&A roles with a control focus
• Experience in multinational companies or audit firms preferred
• Proficient in financial modelling, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Proven ability to visualise and communicate financial data to diverse audiences
• Fluent level English and Japanese
