日本語翻訳担当/ Institutional Japanese Translator

A global investment management firm is looking for an Institutional Japanese Translator. The selected candidate will translate and localise capital markets content for Japanese institutional clients while maintaining linguistic quality, terminology consistency, and regulatory accuracy.

Responsibilities:

• Translate capital markets materials for Japanese institutional clients across reports, presentations, portfolio updates, RFPs, and quarterly reviews
• Develop Japanese tone, style, and localisation guidelines for market-facing content
• Build and maintain Japanese terminology databases to ensure consistency across materials
• Review translated content for accuracy, quality, and compliance across financial, marketing, legal, and educational materials
• Manage translation projects based on business priorities and stakeholder needs
• Support ad hoc assignments, including verbal translation and other language-related requests

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Translation, Linguistics, Communications, or other professional certification related to translation or localisation
• More than 5 years of experience in translation
• Experience editing for clarity, grammar, spelling, consistency and accuracy
• Native level spoken Japanese; business level English

Preferred requirements:

• Experience as a Translator, with financial services industry background
• Understanding of CAT tools, TMS technology, and translation practices
