A global investment management firm is seeking an Associate / Senior Associate. The selected candidate will support investment activities, including evaluating, executing, and monitoring private equity investments, while assisting senior members in portfolio management.

Responsibilities:

• Identify, evaluate, negotiate, structure, execute, and monitor private equity investments across various asset types
• Support senior team members in managing invested portfolio companies
• Perform deal and equity cash flow analysis and due diligence for target transactions
• Collaborate with originators, pre-acquisition, and asset management teams post-acquisition
• Participate in ad hoc projects assigned by supervisors and senior professionals

Requirements:

• More than 3 years of experience in investment banking or financial advisory services with LBO modelling and due diligence experience
• Strong Excel modelling skills or management consulting experience
• Prior experience in Japanese or global private equity funds or investment banking is a plus
• Experience with large asset transactions, such as CRE, bond, or loan portfolios, is advantageous
• Background in Big 4 advisory firms serving PE clients is a plus
• Fluent level English and Japanese
