施設マネージャー/ Facility Manager
A global medical technology company is looking for a Manager, Facility Management. The selected candidate will oversee office operations, manage vendors and budgets, and ensure a safe, efficient, and comfortable work environment for employees.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute maintenance, repairs, and renovation projects
- Collaborate with the Global Real Estate team to implement optimal lease strategies
- Ensure compliance with safety, health, and building regulations
- Manage space planning, office layouts, and relocations
- Oversee internal services including security, catering, waste disposal, parking, visitor management, and cleaning
- Manage office supplies, procurement, mail/courier handling, car leasing, and corporate housing programs
- Support internal events and employee welfare programs
- Select suppliers, negotiate contracts, and monitor service delivery
- Analyse costs and implement efficiency measures
- Prepare and manage operating and capital expenditure budgets, track spending, and prepare financial reports
- Lead and develop facility and general affairs staff, and drive process improvements
- Manage the Business Service Office supporting employees with disabilities in partnership with external consultants
Requirements:
- More than 5 years of experience in facility management or general affairs
- Experience in vendor management, contract negotiation, and budget control
- Knowledge of Japanese labour safety laws and building regulations
- Proficient in MS Office Suite and facility management systems
- Professional level Japanese; business level English
Preferred requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or above
