パテントアクイジションスタッフ/ Patent Acquisition Staff

A renowned global technology company is seeking a Patent Application & Acquisition Staff. The selected candidate will support intellectual property activities in the mobile network operator business and the business.

Responsibilities:

• Lead standards essential patent activities (3GPP and O-RAN Alliance)
• Construct intellectual property portfolio in mobile communications network and mobile terminals
• Conduct patent analysis for licensing activities
• Perform intellectual property clearance in the relevant fields
• Review contracts and manage licensing in the relevant fields
• Formulate and implement intellectual property strategy
• Engage in intellectual property activities related to foreign subsidiaries
• Use English frequently in internal and external meetings

Requirements:

• Practical experience in patent filing and prosecution or copyright protection in server or network virtualisation
• Prior engineer experience in telecommunications networks or mobile terminals
• Hands on experience in intellectual property clearance
• Experience in intellectual property contracts or licencing
• Possess a valid qualification as a lawyer, patent attorney, or patent agent
• Possess valid Specialist of Intellectual Property Management (1st grade) certification
• Fluent level Japanese and English (TOEIC 800+)
