法務アソシエイト/ Legal Associate

An international mobility and technology company is looking for a Legal Associate. The selected candidate will provide strategic legal support across R&D activities, contract management, and cross-functional projects in a fast-paced innovation environment. This is a hybrid setup role.

Responsibilities:

• Provide legal support for research and development activities and the commercialisation of new mobility services
• Review and draft contracts in English and Japanese and support or lead contract negotiations
• Manage and review legal document translations between English and Japanese
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver strategic legal advice and mitigate risk
• Support the resolution of labour issues and other disputes from a legal perspective

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Law
• More than 2 years of experience in a corporate legal department
• More than 1 and a half years of experience in reviewing and drafting contracts at a company’s legal department
• More than 1 year of work or training experience outside Japan
• Skilled in contract review, negotiation support, and cross-border legal coordination
• Experience handling litigation or dispute resolution and advising on joint projects or external collaborations
• Business level Japanese and English
