法務担当官（社内）/ Legal Officer (In-house)

A renowned investment company is seeking a Legal Officer (In-house). The selected candidate will provide legal guidance across corporate, commercial, compliance, and risk management areas.

Responsibilities:

• Draft, review, and negotiate corporate governance documents
• Ensure compliance with laws, standards, and statutory filings
• Support corporate restructuring, M&A, and joint ventures
• Draft and review commercial contracts and agreements
• Develop internal policies and oversee compliance programs
• Advise on disputes, employment law, intellectual property, and regulatory matters

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in law (LLB); Master’s degree or additional certification in
  corporate/commercial law is ideal
• More than 5 years of post-qualification experience
• Experience in a corporate or commercial environment is ideal
• Understanding of corporate law, company secretarial practices, and regulatory frameworks
• Knowledge of contracts, employment law, IP law, compliance, and dispute resolution
• Possess valid lawyer qualification
• Proficient in Japanese and English
