法務顧問/ Legal Counsel

An international technology company is looking for a Legal Counsel. The selected candidate will provide strategic legal support for international operations, managing contracts, compliance, and cross-border legal matters.

Responsibilities:

• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts across multiple regions
• Provide legal advice and support to internal teams on commercial and compliance matters
• Conduct legal research and assist in developing internal policies
• Collaborate with HR and other departments to ensure regulatory compliance across jurisdictions
• Coordinate with outside counsel on various legal issues
• Support the legal team in global expansion initiatives and strategic projects

Requirements:

• More than 5 years reviewing and drafting contracts in English
• More than 5 years in-house or private practice experience (other jurisdictions ideal)
• Experience coordinating with outside counsel
• Willingness to actively leverage generative AI to enhance work quality and drive business impact
• Possess a valid legal qualification: Qualified UK solicitor, US attorney, or Japanese Bengoshi
• Native level English; business level Japanese

Preferred requirements:

• Experience in regulatory compliance, especially telecom-related regulations
• Work experience in the telecommunications industry
• Experience in a startup or similarly fast-moving environment
• Knowledge of IT and technology trends
