A renowned automotive components manufacturer is seeking a Legal Counsel. The selected candidate will provide legal and contractual guidance across operations, including contract management and dispute resolution. This is a hybrid role.

Responsibilities:

• Provide legal and commercial advice across business units
• Review and negotiate various commercial agreements and legal documents
• Advise on multiple legal areas including competition, digital, environmental, and bankruptcy law
• Support key OEM relationships and assist in achieving business goals
• Manage legal disputes and work with external counsel to protect company interests
• Collaborate with internal teams and contribute to global legal strategy

Requirements:

• More than 3 years of experience in an international law firm or company
• Knowledge of ethical principles, company values, code of conduct, and policies
• Ability to work with senior management
• Possess valid lawyer licence or bar admission in Japan
• Fluent level Japanese and English
