A global telecommunication company is searching for an In-House Legal Counsel. In this position, the successful applicant will be providing support to various business functions through legal knowledge and advice.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the HR with legal employee discipline, termination, and guideline advise
• Handle legal reviews, drafting, and negotiation efforts of other business teams
• Aid the regulatory compliance team as well as the IP team with legal advice
• Oversee local claims and lawsuits
• Prepare reports to legal heads of the company

Requirements:

• Ability to provide local labour law and other legal advice
• Prior in-house experience within a local or international firm is ideal
• Work experience in a law firm is beneficial
• Fluent level Japanese; intermediate level English
