ビジネスコンプライアンス部長/ Director of Business Compliance

A global banking and financial services institution is looking for a Director of Business Compliance. The selected candidate will lead compliance, financial crime, and conduct risk advisory while partnering with senior stakeholders to ensure strong risk and regulatory outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Define and lead compliance, financial crime, and conduct risk strategy aligned with group and country priorities
• Advise business leaders on products, transactions, initiatives, and remediation within risk appetite
• Establish and oversee compliance policies, governance frameworks, and monitoring processes
• Act as second line risk owner, managing regulatory issues, horizon risks, and high-risk matters
• Lead and develop advisory teams, driving performance, collaboration, and risk awareness
• Engage key internal and external stakeholders to embed global standards and local regulatory obligations

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above
• Knowledge in markets product
• Understanding of compliance advisory, review and assurance, surveillance, investigations, regulatory liaison, risk assessment, and change and project management
• Possess valid JSDA Internal Control Manager certification
• Native level Japanese; proficient in English
