コンプライアンス担当官/ Compliance Officer

A multinational aircraft financing and leasing services company is seeking a Compliance Officer. The selected candidate will oversee licensing, strengthen compliance frameworks, and guide business operations to meet regulatory standards. This is a hybrid role.

Responsibilities:

• Lead application process for the Type II Financial Instruments Business license
• Enhance internal compliance frameworks, policies and monitoring systems
• Deliver compliance training programs and stay updated on regulatory requirements
• Review sales, marketing and client materials to ensure regulatory alignment
• Manage regulatory reporting, audits and responses to authorities
• Conduct ongoing compliance monitoring and provide remediation recommendations

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Law, Finance, Business or related field
• More than 3 years of experience as a compliance officer
• More than 3 years of equivalent experience in compliance or internal audit functions within Financial Institutions
• Possess valid Type II Business license holder
• Native level Japanese; business level reading, spoken, and written English

Preferred requirements:

• Experience in developing compliance frameworks, policies, and training programs from the ground up
• Prior experience in leading a licensing application with the Japanese regulatory authorities
