コンプライアンスオフィサー/ Compliance Officer

An international materials science company is seeking a Medical Compliance Officer. This role ensures compliance with regional and global policies while providing strategic guidance on business initiatives and regulatory matters. This is a hybrid setup role.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and update regional compliance policies to align with global standards
• Implement and manage compliance training programs
• Advise on business initiatives, identifying legal and regulatory risks
• Support Health Care Professional (HCP) engagement processes
• Monitor and assess risks to inform compliance priorities and controls
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to maintain a strong compliance program

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above
• Extensive experience in the medical device industry in compliance-related roles
• Strong understanding of Japanese pharmaceutical or medical device laws and industry codes, or willingness to acquire knowledge
• Proven ability to influence and build consensus in a cross-functional environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills in a global setting
• Business level written and verbal Japanese and English
