契約スペシャリスト/ Contract Specialist

An international energy technology company is looking for a Contract Specialist. The selected candidate will manage and review commercial contracts, assess risks, and support cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with corporate and legal standards.

Responsibilities:

• Analyse customer contracting requirements to assess commercial, legal, and technical risks
• Prepare and recommend appropriate contract terms and conditions, including NDAs, MOUs, software licenses, and supplier agreements
• Review and negotiate customer contracts and support the resolution of contract issues
• Maintain and support legal and compliance policies, templates, and contract tools
• Collaborate with internal teams, including Commercial Integration, Legal, Technical, and Treasury to lead contract processes
• Support contract training, communication, and onboarding for business partners
• Assist with supply chain contracting support and contract precedent analysis
• Attend account team review meetings and customer visits as required

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above
• 3–5 years of experience in commercial contract management in multinational companies
• Junior attorney or legal consultant with commercial contract experience
• Experience in US/UK commercial contracts T&Cs in English and Japanese, and basic Japanese commercial law
• Skilled in cross-functional collaboration, drafting agreements, negotiating, and finalising contracts
• Experience in project or operations management and business process implementation
• Proficient in MS Office Suite, Adobe Pro, and SharePoint
• Professional level Japanese and English
