An international business and financial services group is hiring for an Associate Analyst to assist the Corporate Finance team in rating process and financial reporting. The ideal candidate is attentive to detail, has sound judgment and has an outgoing personality.

Responsibilities:

• Provide support to Senior Analysts to facilitate the monitoring of existing ratings and the assignment of new ratings for issuers
• Conduct research to support Senior Analysts in the rating process
• Prepare financial spreadsheets and undertake financial modelling
• Produce analytical summaries of quantitative and qualitative information for analysts
• Contribute to the writing of in-depth reports and publications
• Prepare materials for speeches, conferences and briefings
• Attend issuer meetings

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher, ideally completed CFA Level 1
• An accounting background
• Basic knowledge of MS Excel and PowerPoint
• Business level fluent in English and Japanese
