プリセールスエンジニア/ Pre-Sales Engineer
A foreign software company is looking for a Pre-Sales Engineer. The selected applicant will design and present technical solutions, lead pre-sales engagements, and support smooth customer onboarding to drive value and revenue growth.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with the sales team in pre-sales engagements to design and present solutions that address customer needs in observability, SIEM, and adjacent analytics use cases
- Ensure seamless integration into customer environments
- Lead technical discovery, proof-of-concept, and pilot deployments, ensuring smooth onboarding, measurable value delivery, and alignment with customer business objectives to drive new and expansion opportunities
- Provide advanced troubleshooting during pre-sales and early adoption phases, building customer trust through technical expertise, responsive engagement, and a commitment to long-term success
- Serve as a trusted advisor by identifying optimisation opportunities, uncovering additional use cases, and sharing best practices for managing observability and security data at scale
- Collaborate with product management and engineering to share customer feedback, address solution gaps, and influence the product roadmap to improve product-market fit
- Help achieve revenue targets set by the company
- Keep opportunity information up-to-date in Salesforce and other tools in partnership with the sales team
Requirements:
- More than 3 years of experience with observability, SIEM, or analytics platforms, including customer-facing work in pre-sales or early adoption phases
- Hands-on experience designing and deploying solutions in at least one cloud platform (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
- Knowledge of SQL, SPL, and a programming language such as Python or Java
- Strong knowledge of observability architectures, log and metrics pipelines, and related tools
- Background in bringing new or emerging products to market, including guiding early customer adoption and shaping product fit
Preferred requirements:
- Strong Splunk knowledge and familiarity with complementary technologies such as Cribl, Grafana, or Elastic
- Experience with large-scale log and metrics data storage, compression, and query optimisation
- Familiarity with security analytics, incident response workflows, compliance-related data requirements, and containerised deployments using technologies such as Kubernetes and Helm
- Familiarity with structured sales methodologies such as MEDDIC
