データセンター セールスエンジニア/ Data Centre Sales Engineer

A fast-growing data centre platform company is looking for a Senior Facility Engineer. The selected candidate will oversee data centre operations, ensuring efficiency and compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities:

• Optimise the assignment, utilisation, and reporting of data centre space and power resources
• Define security procedures and maintain security systems within the data centre
• Manage incident response and escalation workflows, assessing fault severity and service impact
• Consolidate DC operations performance reports for management review
• Implement certification programs such as ISO 27001, 14001, and 45001
• Supervise maintenance and construction work with vendors and manage landlord relationships
• Manage routine and emergency services for critical systems (electrical, mechanical, security, fire systems)
• Develop and maintain SOPs, MOPs, and EOPs related to data centre operations
• Assist with design, construction, and commissioning phases for new data centres
• Oversee utility contracts and procurement of renewable energy
• Ensure compliance with legal regulations and environmental standards, including energy laws and global warming countermeasures

Requirements:

• Associate degree or above in electrical or mechanical engineering
• More than 2 years of experience in data centre facility management or operations
• Proven experience in data centre operations and vendor management
• Skilled in managing critical systems such as electrical, mechanical, and fire systems
• Possess a valid certification in electrical, fire, or mechanical engineering, CDCP or CDFOM preferred
• Native level Japanese; business level English
