営業ディレクター/ Sales Director
A global IT solutions company is seeking a Director of Sales. The successful candidate will oversee all sales activities, manage key enterprise accounts, and drive business growth through strategic leadership. This is a hybrid role.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage Japan’s entire sales organisation, including Direct, VAR, and Partner/OEM teams
- Develop and execute sales strategies tailored to the Japanese market
- Manage enterprise client relationships and oversee key account pipeline
- Build scalable, structured sales processes across teams and partner networks
- Recruit, train, and mentor high-performing sales professionals
- Collaborate cross-functionally with global teams to align local execution with global objectives
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or above (Business, Technology, or a related field preferred)
- More than 8 years of experience in enterprise software or IT solution sales
- Prior experience in hybrid sales models (direct + indirect)
- Background managing and selling through VARs, OEMs, and directly to enterprise customers in Japan
- Knowledge of Japanese enterprise decision-making processes and partner ecosystems
- Ability and willingness to travel
- Native level written and spoken Japanese; business level written and spoken English
Preferred requirements:
- MBA or other advanced business degree is a plus
- Experience working in a global or matrixed organisation is ideal
- Prior experience in backup, disaster recovery, security, infrastructure, or data protection solutions is advantageous
