An international IT company is looking for an Account Director. The selected candidate will sell SaaS products along with related professional services to the R&D function of Life Sciences companies within a defined territory.
Responsibilities:
- Identify prospects, build the pipeline and conduct effective, consultative meetings with prospects to assess their needs for software solutions across core R&D processes
- Manage the end-to-end sales process, from prospecting to deal closure
- Strategise, plan, and execute sales development activities with marketing
- Analyse and relate customer issues and requirements to thecompany's solutions
- Develop new and manage existing client relationships at all levels of the organisation
- Conduct sales presentations and represent the company at trade shows and exhibitions
- Engage with the broader organisation to prepare and submit effective demonstrations and proposals that highlight value and differentiation
- Update and maintain CRM system regarding prospective clients and opportunities
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or above
- Prior software sales experience (SaaS exposure is preferred) to mid-market to down-market types of clients
- Experience in SaaS hunting and closing experience
- Experience executing product presentations to C-levels, VPs, directors, and managers
- Proficient in utilising prospect insight tools (LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Lead IQ, and Hubspot)
- Knowledge of Life Sciences R&D function
- Proficient in MS Office and SFDC
- Strong contract negotiation skills
