A leading SaaS company is seeking a Sales Director. The role involves formulating strategies, coaching the team, and managing the sales pipeline to achieve growth targets. This is a hybrid setup role.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and motivate a team of Sales Consultants and Account Executives
- Assist in analysing deals, managing the pipeline, and closing sales, with a focus on SMB and Mid-market segments
- Provide strategic direction for client acquisition, deal analysis, and sales closure
- Offer personalised coaching and support to help sales representatives exceed quotas and enhance their skills
- Monitor team performance, inspire representatives to exceed quota targets, and drive excellence
- Develop accurate sales forecasts to align with strategic objectives and track performance
- Oversee recruitment, hiring, and onboarding of new team members
- Collaborate with senior management to create and implement sales strategies aligned with business goals
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to enhance team performance
- Scout for top talent and align recruitment efforts with team expansion plans
- Evaluate proposed deals to ensure alignment with pricing standards and contribute to profitability
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or above
- 5-8 years of B2B sales experience
- 3-5 years in a leadership role managing teams
- Proven track record in sales and relationship management in a SaaS environment
- Strong passion for business development with an entrepreneurial drive
- Possess a valid authorisation to work in Japan
- Fluent level Japanese and English
