シニアセールスマネージャー/ Senior Sales Manager
A multinational consumer goods company is looking for a Senior Sales Manager / Subsidiary Manager. The selected candidate will drive new business development, lead key sales initiatives, and oversee subsidiary operations, including team leadership and financial management.
Responsibilities:
- Create and execute growth strategies targeting new channels and markets
- Identify and acquire new customers, distributors, retailers, and design partners
- Personally led major sales engagements and strategic accounts
- Drive proactive market exploration to unlock untapped opportunities
- Enhance brand presence and influence in priority markets
- Coach and elevate the sales team toward ambitious goals
- Monitor market trends and customer needs to guide innovation and strategy
- Manage daily operations to ensure business continuity
- Lead HR activities, including talent development and performance management
- Oversee accounting, tax, and compliance with external specialists
- Manage relationships with banks and support budgeting and basic P&L management
- Ensure strong alignment and communication with international headquarters
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business, Marketing, or Management
- 7-10 years in commercial leadership roles with proven new business development success
- Practical experience in personally winning major accounts and developing sales channels
- Prior experience in Business-to-Business (B2B) transactions
- Experience in organisational transformation and team leadership
- Native level Japanese; business level English
Preferred requirements:
- Experience in consumer goods, floral/decorative materials, or design-related fields
- Basic knowledge of subsidiary management and P&L principles
