日本営業部長/ Japan Sales Manager

A global machinery manufacturer is seeking a Japan Sales Manager. The successful candidate will lead and grow the sales organisation while driving business development and market strategies.

Responsibilities:

• Strengthen and develop the sales organisation to enhance the Target Operating Model
• Create and implement sales and business plans tailored to the Japanese market
• Manage pricing policies aligned with regional and global strategies
• Build and maintain partnerships with key customers, trading houses, and authorities
• Consolidate market and product requirements and align with global strategy
• Develop and execute Japan-specific go-to-market strategies with leadership teams

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in technical engineering or business management
• More than 8 years of experience in similar role
• Experience in managing a legal entity, P&L responsibility, and leading teams is ideal
• Prior experience in a global matrix organisation
• Proven experience in sales and business development in the Japanese market
• Knowledge with Japanese certificates and regulations (PSE, NK, WRAS)
• Ability and willingness to travel
• Proficient in Japanese; business level English
