モビリティパワースポーツ事業開発マネージャー/ Mobility Powersports BD Manager

A renowned manufacturing company in the mobility and powersports industry is looking for a Mobility Powersports Business Development Manager. The selected candidate will lead regional strategy, drive OE and aftermarket growth, and build a high-performing Japan organisation. This is a hybrid role.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute a localised business strategy for Japan’s mobility market
• Set regional sales forecasts and recommend market-appropriate pricing strategies
• Align technology offerings with Japanese market needs and support customer training
• Identify market opportunities and collaborate with local teams to strengthen product fit
• Build and deepen strategic relationships with key customers and e-mobility partners
• Lead regional application engineering while coordinating closely with global teams

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Engineering, Engineering Technology or Business (MBA is a plus)
• More than 10 years of experience in OE field sales, application engineering, product engineering, or business development
• Experience with pipeline reviews and performance tracking for commercial teams
• Knowledge of the Japanese distribution network and go-to-market models, including direct/OE and distribution channels
• Understanding of our power transmission products and the OE sales process as it applies to Japan
• Skilled in product manufacturing and supply chain strategies specific to the Japanese market
• Proficient in MS Office Suite
• Ability and willingness to travel locally and overseas
• Fluent level written and verbal Japanese (English is ideal)

Preferred requirements:

• Experience in the motorcycle, scooter, or powersports market in Japan
