Business Development Director

A multinational employee benefits and technology solutions company is seeking a Business Development Director. The selected candidate will drive merchant network expansion, strategic partnerships, and innovative business growth initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Expand the merchant network by acquiring key partners, including chain restaurants and supermarkets
• Develop and execute strategic plans for merchant expansion
• Manage and strengthen relationships with existing merchants and lead negotiations to improve revenue
• Identify and acquire new partners such as delivery platforms, payment schemes, and coupon aggregators
• Create business development strategies for new product launches to ensure successful adoption
• Build and lead a high-performing business development team

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above
• More than 10 years of experience in business development or similar roles
• More than 5 years of experience in a business company setting
• Proven experience in developing, negotiating, and executing business agreements
• Experience in leading strategic alliance projects
• Prior work experience in a consulting firm is a plus
• Proficient in value-based selling and skilled in negotiation
• Strong passion for customer experience and relationship building
• Proficient in English
