Commercial Head of Funds

A renowned corporate business services firm is seeking a Commercial Head of Funds Japan. The selected candidate will develop and lead the go-to-market strategy to expand the company’s funds business in the Japan region while managing key client relationships and driving growth.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute strategic plans to expand the funds business in Japan
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders to identify new opportunities
• Collaborate with global teams to ensure consistent relationship management and lead generation
• Drive revenue growth by developing pipelines and closing business opportunities
• Represent the company at events and conferences to strengthen brand presence
• Lead and manage the full sales cycle, ensuring successful client onboarding and post-sales satisfaction

Requirements:

• More than 5 years of experience as a business development or sales professional in a rapidly growing company
• Experience building and managing key partner relationships
• Prior experience in consulting environment with a range of company sizes
• Background in individual sales success
• Knowledge of the Japanese corporate, SPC, and fund services network
• Understanding of existing technology solutions used by the team (Investran/ Yardi)
• Familiarity with Japan corporate, SPC and fund services network
• Fluent level Japanese; business level English
