A global investment banking company is looking for a Business Development Manager. The selected candidate will identify and secure new business opportunities while managing existing client relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Hunt for new logos and find up and cross-selling opportunities within existing contracts
- Conduct white space analysis with account manager team to identify opportunities
- Use sales techniques to understand client needs and qualify target lists
- Collaborate with multiple stakeholders to cultivate trusting relationships
- Record all activities accurately and timely on the company's CRM system
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or above is ideal
- More than 3 years of professional experience
- Experience with IT and analytical tools
- Proficient in MS Excel, Power BI, etc,
- Prior experience in shipping, maritime, trading, logistics industry, or macroeconomics is a plus
- Proven experience selling licensed solutions in B2B is preferred
- Native level Japanese; fluent level English
