A global cloud computing services company is seeking a Business Development professional. The role involves engaging with key stakeholders in the startup ecosystem and developing scalable strategies for long-term customer engagement.
Responsibilities:
- Engage with key stakeholders in the startup ecosystem to build strong relationships
- Collaborate with venture capitalists, corporate venture capitalists, angels, incubators, and accelerators to convert their portfolio startups into long-term clients
- Develop and implement strategies to deliver value to startup organizations
- Recommend and monitor metrics to assess effectiveness within the startup ecosystem
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or above is preferred
- More than 8 years of professional experience
- Experience in account management, relationship management, or technical sales is a plus
- Understanding of the startup ecosystem
- Familiarity with VC, investors, and the Accelerators or Incubators community is ideal
- Proficient in written and spoken English and Japanese
