A global pharmaceutical firm is looking for a Business Development Manager. The qualified individual will engage in partnering events and conferences, and present at introductory meetings with new clients. This role is based in Tokyo.
Responsibilities:
- Research target clients and identify them
- Initiate cold marketing outreach to these target clients
- Follow up on communications with new clients
- Manage the RFI or RFP process with clients and partners for new opportunities, including referral responses
- Prepare and finalise proposals and contracts for potential and current clients
- Support client communication during the proposal, proposal defense, and contract finalisation process
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or above
- Experience in business development (CRO, pharmaceutical, or healthcare industry is ideal)
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills
- Skilled in MS Office Suite
- Proficient in English
