A renowned company in the consumer goods industry is seeking a Global Consumer Insights Manager. The selected candidate will oversee primary and secondary research to drive commercial innovation and market activation. This is a hybrid setup role.
Responsibilities:
- Manage projects from design through execution and reporting
- Maintain supplier/agency relationships and track budgets
- Generate and apply consumer insights, contributing to research best practices
- Collaborate with APAC-MEA teams on innovation, brand strategy, and market execution
- Understand customer needs and support shopper insights
- Partner with syndicated data providers
- Manage self-serve research projects using online tools
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or above
- More than 5 years in marketing research, including primary and secondary research
- More than 2 years in a global business environment, ideally with USA and Japan interactions
- Practical experience in consumer-packaged goods research on the manufacturer side
- Experience in a matrix team environment
- Familiarity with syndicated scan data (e.g., Intage SCI)
- Possess a valid MBA qualification is desirable
- Fluent level Japanese and English
